Hawley Wharf

8 new buildings in Camden housing a new canal-side market, cafes and restaurants, a cinema, 195 residential units, a food quarter and commercial space.

As part of the regeneration of London’s vibrant Camden Town we were appointed in 2015 as the Masonry contractor for the first phase of the Camden Lock Village development, which includes residential and high-quality public realm construction. This project also entertained two active train lines running through the site.


This project features eight new buildings between three and nine storeys in height, housing a new canal-side market, cafes and restaurants, a cinema, 195 residential units, a food quarter and commercial space. They will be integrated into the neighbourhood via several new pedestrian routes and open air public spaces.


Our involvement also includes the refurbishment of existing Building A0 which faces out onto the high street

AWARDS


We are delighted to announce two projects Galostar Ltd. have delivered masonry facades on have been presented with RIBA Regional Awards (London) with on also receiving a National Award.  

The RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) has been honouring outstanding architects and architectural work for almost 2 centuries; their awards are internationally recognised as a mark of excellence. The 2022 RIBA London Awards have recognised two exceptional developments, Belle View, Hampstead, and Hawley Wharf, Camden, that Galostar have had the honour of contributing to.  Additionally, Hawley Wharf has been further recognised with a RIBA National Award.
