Services Overview

In addition to brick and blockwork, Galostar offers expertise in all associated disciplines such as erection of windposts, steelwork and so on, as well as scaffolding through the group company G&B Scaffolding - taking brickwork to new heights.

Clients can send drawings by email for reference at our planning meetings where our expert team will discuss every aspect of the project to provide the perfect package for the contractor.

Brickwork
Brickwork   As specialist contractors Galostar offer a full range of bricklaying expertise. This ranges from simple new build brickwork contracts to complex refurbishment packages, where matching new works to existing listed buildings is critical. Our vast experience and contacts within the industry enables Galostar to produce brickwork to the highest of standards.
Block Work
Block Work   Block work is an integeral discipline within the majority of our contracts. Over the years we have undertaken all types of block work, including; standard face work, architectual block work and thin joint block work.
Scaffold Solutions
Scaffold Solutions   Galsotar can offer the advantageous service of masonry and scaffold packages. This eliminates the need for main contractors to co - ordinate between two major packages, at the same time saving programme time. Since our partnership began we have found that with combining our two trades we have been able to give our clients a more economical, speedy service that benefits all parties. At the same time we have recorded that our working at height H&S has improved. This is partly due to our on site project managers managing both packages.
Steelwork
Steelwork   As with windposts, there is an ever increasing need to include additional steel work to support masonry works. Working closely with companies like Ancon, Halfen and ACS Galostar has all the input in design necessary to ensure a smooth supply and fix of all steel work. Thus achieving completion of projects on time and on budget.
On Site Engineering.
On Site Engineering.   Galostar can offer an engineering service as part our Masonry packages. We have found that this has enabled our contracts to be completed more efficiently, whilst easing the sub contractors dependence on the main contractor.
Wind posts
Wind posts   In recent times there has been an increasing need for masonry support in the way of wind posts. Consequently Galostar have developed a process which allows us to have an influential role in masonry support. From the early stages of design, through procurement to the supply and installation we have all the necessary skill and experience that is expected to give a fist class service.
Mastic Sealent
Mastic Sealent   Galostar offer NVQ qualified construction sealent applicators to instal all mastics and sealents necessary in todays construction. There are many advantages of this service, primarily the coordination of trades (brickwork, mastic & scaffolding) which is simplified as it is under one management system thus saving costly situations where access has to be provided twice for different trades. Our clients also have the quality assurence of our work as it is incorperated within our Q&A system.
